Quality of life run...5 miles

so I am almost finished with this five mile run..and there at the end is my family cheering me on..to finish strong..How that melted my heart...I loved every minute of it..and I ran even faster to finish....I ran the fastest five miles I have ever ran.I finished in 41 minutes...that is very impressive to me...because I'm use to running it in 50 to 55 minutes...so I cut like almost 10 to 12 minutes off this day...I was super proud...I also ran with my good buddy brenda..who runs all kinds of runs..and always beats me...One day I will run as fast or faster then here...lol...It will be fun that is for sure...

Mikayla...was strolling along at walmart...when we were looking for school clothes...and she was eating a corn dog...and then she bit into it and said owe...my tooth...and I looked at it..and there was here tooth on the verge of falling out...but she wanted to wait until we got home..so that dad could pull it out..so we get home.and get the floss out...and at then at the last minute...she was second guessing her dad pulling it out..so he had to trick her...by saying there is something on your tooth so he could get the job done....So now that it is all over with she is happy and excited to have her first tooth out...Now the tooth fairy job begins....lol...

Out enjoying life with the kids...the easy way

So Jesse says hey lets get our roller blades on and skate around the block with the kids...so I say sure...this should be fun...kids got there bikes out...And I put Melanie in the stroller and off we went around the block a couple of times...and then Jesse was like...hm-mm...you know what we should try...and he got a grin on his face and went to the garage and found a rope and said hey girls...lets tie this around your bike and you can pull me...and so he did..and it was quite fun to watch...the girls loved towing their dad around the block with there bikes...and all the neighbors got a kick out of it as well...What a time and a day to always remember this bliss moment...Family time is special...

13.1 mile ....half a marathon

So wow..I haven't blogged for a long time...So in this time...I have been practicing to run a half a marathon...for my very first time...it was just awesome...I loved it...Of course I got this crazy idea from my good friend Brenda who is standing on my right side..she was like sure you can do it !!!!! What a motivator she is...So I prepared and took action...It was a lot of fun...and I cant wait to do it again next year...I ran the 13.1 mile run in 2 hours and 14 minutes...So it will be a good start to beat next year for sure...It was a beautiful place to run as well...we ran in Laural about 25 minutes from billings and it started out by a river...and then it was like driving in the country scenery next...It was nice and cool on the way down..but then heated up towards the end..as you can see my face is quite red...next year..I get a sun visor for sure...I in courage all to try to run...it will make you proud what you can achieve
