8 years latter

Well today is me and my husband 8th year anniversary, And wow has it gone by so fast. Me and my husband met in 1999 at a institute dance at ISU, I saw him dancing with some friends and I was dancing with my sister and I wanted him to notice me so I told my sister that we should go and dance a little bit closer to him, so that he could see me, and so we did, and to my surprise, my plan worked and He did notice me and he came over and asked me to dance, and Then asked for my number, and and I gave it to him and he said he would call and then two weeks went by and no call, so then I saw him again and he didn't even remember my name, so then I reminded him and he then he did call me the next day, and then the rest is history. What attracted me the most to him was his smile and personality, and his good looks, Though as I got to know him, I found him quite annoying!!!! but I thought maybe heavenly father knows something else. One of the things me and my husband like to do together is go for walks together and to watch movies together, When we were dating we would always go for walks and get hot chocolate to warm us up on the walk. We just enjoy talking and enjoying one another s company and taking in the beauty of the surrounding area. Jesse and I have three beautiful children and one on the way, we have two girls and one boy, and they have brought us great joy. So to my wonderful husband of 8 years and many many more to come, I love you with all of my heart, and I am so thankful that we met those many years ago. Love Beth

That was sweet. It made me laugh, too. Once you got to know him better he annoyed you?! Ha! I think that's probably true with any of us. Once you start spending more serious time with someone, you notice quirks, the way they do something differently from you, etc. But I think you've probably kept your marriage a happy one because you try to overlook annoyances and notice the wonderful things. Congratulations, Jesse and Liz!!
